For of Such is the Kingdom of Heaven                    

What are children really, and what have you yourselves been when you were born into this world and when you were growing in this world? You have been very open, free and honest, for you have expressed your needs and emotions openly and you have faced everything with open eyes, without prejudice. You have faced everything the way it has come across you and you have looked at it as it is. In the course of time, all this which can be called honesty, has changed in you and yet, it is still in you. As a little child, you lived in the moment and surrendered to the moment, for there was only that moment, and you were happy in that moment. When you surrendered to the moment, you simply were and enjoyed. You were sad, too, but sadness always came into your life from the outside world. Sadness was caused by the restrictions set by the outside world, but already in the next moment it was wiped away when some new thing caught your interest. When a child is crying and something catches his eye, the displeasure vanishes in a flash and a new interest occupies his mind.

There is a lot of joy in a child's life but the joy diminishes as the child grows. A little child believes in himself and in life; merely the fact that you can walk tells about the way a child confronts life. If a child thought like an adult, none of you would walk or talk, and you would have no skills which are considered self-evident. Think about a child who is learning to walk: what patience there is underneath everything as he tries and tries again and again! If he falls, he sits a while irritated but in the next moment, he stands up and starts again, when everything just succeeds. A child does not disparage himself or compare, for he does not see that the drawing of another is better or worse than his. He sees things as they are and faces life as it is. The title sentence can tell anything whatsoever depending on how everyone experiences it inside, but this sentence also tells in its own way how everyone can make heaven of his life at every moment. How one can live in heaven or how life can become like heaven: meaningful, joyful and happy, whatever heaven symbolizes for anyone. The sentence does not mean that you have to regress to the level of a five-year-old to be well, for you are what you are today and you do not have to change into anything at all. When you think about the symbolic meaning of the sentence, it will unfold to you.

A child is born again into life at every moment, for every moment is a new moment for him. It is like a rebirth, for he is born to that moment and surrenders to it and receives that moment. A child does not have conditions: he faces everything as it is, for he has no prejudice. In a child, there is also honesty, for he accepts himself the way he is. A child is also flexible, for he can move flexible from one moment to another and he can find from every moment that which is good for him and which he can also utilize. A child enjoys order but can also be happy in the midst of chaos if he sees something interesting which makes him happy. Absolutely everything is possible to a child, for all power lives in him. You can be of that age, look like you do and be the size you are at the very moment and still be reborn at every moment. Everything is possible for you at every moment, and you can be honest to yourselves at every moment. You can see the world without prejudice and step into it boldly and you can face the world without requirements and conditions and see what it offers to you. Think all this symbolically and with an open mind and compare your life with walking, for when you stand up to walk, you do not question walking. You do not think whether this leg will bear and whether the other leg will obey, and you do not think whether you can turn your head, whether you eyes will surely open, whether you can look and whether you see the right things. A child sees and experiences exactly the same way, for in the same exact way, life in itself is different at every moment. You can notice that there is nothing wrong and nothing right, for there is nothing that one "must". Through all this, one can find a connection to oneself and experience, face and feel. Everything is an expression of the same love, that which we are and breathe and all that we see. The states of a child cannot be understood with the reason of an adult, because a child does not have the reason of an adult, and a child only lives through his world of emotions, for the smaller the child is, the stronger his world of emotion is. A very small child only has needs and the world of emotions which is expressed through them. The child you once were, however, has not disappeared anywhere but is living in you. Accept this child, reach out your hand to it and take it in your arms, for when you accept him, he can influence in your life with his own contribution. In a child, there is enormous creativity, and this way you get the child's abilities for your use. As an adult, you can fully carry and protect this child, for the adult living in you can take responsibility of your life.

There is unlimited information in you which you can utilize in every moment for your best interest. You are adults in whom there are the abilities of all the past incarnations at your disposal, but how little you use this immense package of abilities! When you give a permission to the child living in you, you open a door to this package of abilities with the curiosity and enthusiasm of a child, when joy steps into your life as well. The child which you have been can come alive just as happy and balanced as he has been underneath everything, even though he, as a child, would not have been capable of this due to the conditions. Every child is a child, and in every child lives joy, creativity, curiosity and faith, and when you accept the child into your life, the adult and the child in you will walk hand in hand.

                                                        

In everyone lives also parenthood where all the patterns and restrictions are, and when the child reaches out his hand to the adult and the adult takes the child by the hand, this parent in you remains in the background. When this child/parent-entity strengthens in you, the parent, with his restrictions and patterns, begins to serve. It becomes the part in you which always makes you reconsider things, when you see them more broadly. Ultimately this entity works hand in hand for your best interest.
